Re: Searching kids at the turnstiles
Noticed this game before last. Bloke with his daughter gets searched first, but then told his daughter has to go to the far side on her own to be searched. He tells him his daughter stays with him, and you can't have children going through on their own. Security has to check with his superior if it's alright.

Re: Searching kids at the turnstiles
Not at all Chigwell but as I just said there's a way of doing this. They are asking for you to be separated so that your kids can be frisked by some stranger.

I'm hardly one of these over protective parents but this just don't sit right with me. With the current climate they could probably be a little more sensible.

Re: Searching kids at the turnstiles
It's a football match Auckland not an international airport. Who the fuck would want their kids searched by the local nonce. Who are these people anyway, have they been CRB checked, who knows.

Why are we also expected to be separated from them so they can get searched elsewhere. They cannot do anything right over there, if they had separate queues for parents with kids and they just walked through a metal detector (like airports) I wouldn't give a shit.

Re: Searching kids at the turnstiles
BS you one of those parents who thinks your kids are at risk from every other adult, who must surely be a paedophile? What would you think if someone told their child not to go near you? Get a grip.

Anybody complain about kids being searched at the airport?

No.

Because it's a common sense security measure.

3 reasons immediately spring to mind OTB

1. I contract with the club not the stadium owners when I buy tickets
2. The club have a duty of care to safeguard minors
3 I'm sure that the club doesn't want headlines like , "Little Johnny felt up by Nonce Steward'

Re: Searching kids at the turnstiles
The OS is a big, obvious (iconic, even), soft, potential terrorist target.

MI5 have informed us that a major terrorist attack should be expected imminently.

People get outraged about their kids getting searched on the way into a big, obvious, soft, potential terrorist target.

The stadium operators have obviously been told to up their game on security.

...

To be fair though, they're probably right about the stewarding job now being a nonce magnet.

Today was the first time they have asked my kids to be searched over there. Fucking joke really.

Nonce wand, Hahaha.

At the Burnley match my boy brought his mate who's 15 but about 6 foot. Neither got searched and they both had big rucksacks. They never search the kids or at least haven't with my kids.

Putting Happy Holidays on the front of the match programme was a new low for me. They never searched my son but asked him to move over to a lady steward though.

Who will shout while they fiddle about?

Are all kids being searched on the way in? Sounds scandalous to me. Seems they want to put off anyone with a soul or a strong opinion from going.

I didn't see any kids getting searched

If they're gonna search at all, of course they should search kids too. Especially the bearded variety.

They patted me down and searched my son with their nonce wand, yet didn't even ask me to open my bag.

In which I had a small Pakistani boy to hand over to someone I met off here.

I am both a paedophile AND smuggle drugs into the ground using kids I pick up in Westfields so I don't know where I stand on this.

the law of averages suggests some of these people searching kids are nonces.
